TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

It is a calcareous sandstone polymictic (as reflected in Folk UNE-EN 12679. Terminology).
Has a homogeneous structure to the mesoscale.
Texture:
Grains of quartz, feldspar, rock fragments (limestone and dolomite) and signs of fossils.
Dense skeleton.
Relationship skeleton / paste 70/3033
Grain size, mode: 0,12-0,25 mm.
Angular grains of quartz.
Matrix micrítica and argilomicácea.
Esparítico microcrystalline calcitic cement.
Porous rock with porosity interpartícula, intercristalina and circumgranular.
Mineralogical composition:
Main components:
Calcite: 60% (as a matrix, cement, composed of clasts and fossil fragments)
Quartz: 18% (monocrystalline quartz and chert or flint signs)
Dolomite. 14% as parent dolomitic rock fragments and some scattered glass idiomorfo.
Minority components:
Feldspar: 4%
Minerals argilomicáceos: 4%
Accessory Components: Oxides.
Tourmaline, iron oxides, Muscovite, zircon
